One of my toughest 40 B4 40 projects was going to see a concert. I don’t follow any popular music and I go to bed early, so I ended up at a Sunday afternoon piano concert. This weekend, I finally went to a “real” concert.
I discovered The Brothers Comatose through a song that played between stories on the Risk podcast. I downloaded the album and thus added the first new music to my collection in years. The bluegrass band is based out of San Francisco, so there are local opportunities to hear them play live. We drove up to Redding for my first real concert since . . . oh, this is where it gets embarrassing . . . the Barenaked Ladies in 2002? No. It was Tori Amos in 2004 or 2005. Still. It’s been awhile!
