Since I began pursuing my portfolio career, weekends aren’t much different than any other day, other than the fact that Beefy is home and everything seems to open later. This leads to me losing track of the current day of the week.
On Monday morning, I realized that I was giving a seminar in San Francisco the next day (Tuesday), not Wednesday. Doh. I made hotel reservations, finished the day’s tasks, and left Sacramento by 2:30 p.m. to beat the traffic. Success.
Scarf, Urban Outfitters. Shirt, Levi’s (thrifted). Dress, Mossimo. Boots, Vince Camuto (consignment). Sunglasses, Target. Earrings, street fair.
I was planning on just bumming around the house (and our 104 degree weather), in this Mossimo dress, but quickly added layers for the trip west. I did not add enough layers, as it turned out. I have such a hard time fathoming how cool San Francisco can be when I’m roasting in the Central Valley.
P.S. The header photo (which you can see if you are viewing the outfit post on the website) was the view from my hotel room. Not bad!
