I managed three time zones, three states, and two seasons in four days. California was summery and Michigan and Missouri were downright wintry.
I swear I checked the forecast before I left, but was surprised by cool, rainy weather in the Midwest. I didn’t bring a single pair of full-length pants, other than my owl-printed pajama bottoms. I may have been cold, but I looked sharp in navy, black, red, white, and denim. I wore the business outfits to give presentations on communication, WordPress, and workspace organization.
These are the capsule items:

Pros: The color palette was super sharp. The booties and flats were comfortable for six hours of speaking, each. I love having the pockets in the blazers for my slideshow remote.
Cons: I was cold! The worst was filling up at a gas station in the cold wind outside the Detroit airport. I did bring and wear a down vest, but it did nothing for my poor legs. I also need to invest in more layering tees and tanks so that I can wear a fresh one every day.
