As I shared yesterday, I’m required to wear a blazer for my public seminars. I wore this little number all week.
I bought this blazer for a few bucks at the St Vincent de Paul store in Cincinnati. I love the cut, stretch, and cotton-rich fabric. I don’t love its magical, lint-attracting abilities. I keep a lint roller with my projector so that I’m prepared for a last minute roll-down before my seminar participants arrive. And a roll-down at breaks. And a thorough roll-down at lunch. Then, I come home and ruin my hard work with a dog cuddle.
Jacket, Odds ‘n Evens (thrifted). Dress, Banana Republic (consignment). Blouse, Maeve (consignment). Shoes, BCBG Paris.
Do you see my little lint maker lurking below?
And, here’s a TBT to the first time I wore this blazer on the blog, in 2008:
I have to laugh, because even back then I thought blazers made business outfits boring.
