Ugh. This is not a combination I’ll wear again: knit blazer, midi-dress, and slippers. I just need curlers to complete the shut-in look.

I felt lost in fabric and hair. The flat shoes did me no favors, either. I think it’s time to get this dress hemmed to just above the knee.

Blazer, ASOS. Dress, Jones New York (thrifted). Shoes, Paprika. Earrings, Jack E Oh’s NYC. Scarf, TJ Maxx.

I like it, the only thing I would have done differently was shoes, I would have added height – the rest is very K-

I think that you’re right that there’s just too much of that black dress – it’s too plain and basic for your style without something funky to perk it up.

I plan to get it hemmed, soon! I’ve always been challenged by too much fabric. I think I imagine I’m taller than I actually am! (I also rarely get to wear heels anymore. They help balance a long or full skirt.)
